Fiona Crawford—or A Girl Called Fred—is a freelance writer, editor, blogger, and proofreader.
She blogs for premier football website FourFourTwo Australia, is the Online/Content Editor for Football Federation Australia‘s women’s football, which includes the Westfield Matildas, the Westfield W-League, and Girls FC.
She’s travelled to Melbourne, Milan, Rio de Janeiro, and Paris respectively to cover the 2008, 2009, 2010, and 2011 Homeless World Cups (HWC).
She went, thanks to an Arts Queensland Career Development Grant, to Germany to cover the Westfield Matildas during their 2011 FIFA Women’s World Cup campaign.
