Fiona Crawford—or A Girl Called Fred—is a freelance writer, editor, blogger, and proofreader.
She carries a torch for the now-relegated former Roar captain Chad Gibson and lives in hope that he will one day return to the A-League.
In the interim, she’s keeping herself busy blogging for premier football websites FourFourTwo and Goal.com. She also headed to Melbourne and Milan to cover the 2008 and 2009 Homeless World Cups and is off to Rio for the event in 2010.
